Why does pre-order delivery take so long?

Since we bundle orders and some manufacturers have delivery times of up to 8 weeks, the delivery will be delayed accordingly. With pre-orders, we can better estimate the required quantity of products or only the quantity of products that is actually in demand is produced. However, we see this as an important step to avoid overproduction and thus conserve resources. We want to make an active contribution to more conscious consumption and more sustainability.
