Yoshiko Home was founded by Dutch woman Lisa van Roode to build a sustainable business with a focus on social awareness and design sense . The term Yoshi comes from Japanese and means good, beautiful, respectful and virtuous. The products are mostly made in Bangladesh by hand and in compliance with the highest standards . Yoshiko Home only works with factories that respect their ethical values and also act according to their philosophy and principles. Nature is a source of inspiration for the manufactured products and therefore only sustainable, organic materials such as sea grass and elephant grass or corresponding alternatives are used. Yoshiko Home stands for the Scandinavian Boho or Modern-Bohemian style.
